ADHD Hall of Fame: The First Family of wild hearts

As Halloween approaches, we can’t help but celebrate the Osbournes—their dark, gothic energy, chaotic brilliance, and Ozzy’s “Prince of Darkness” legacy make them perfect icons for the season. But there’s more to their story that resonates deeply—especially within the ADHD community.
Welcome to the BW ADHD Hall of Fame.
And yes—this family rules it.
Jack on ADHD, addiction, and finding structure in chaos
Jack Osbourne has always been honest about his journey. Growing up on tour and under constant public scrutiny, he’s spoken about being pushed into adulthood too soon—an experience that contributed to his struggles with ADHD, addiction, and depression.
“I was exposed to a lot of things your average teen probably shouldn’t be around,” he recalls.“It was overwhelming. Isolating.”
Later, it was structure that brought him back to himself.
“Once I got into the routine of treatment, I enjoyed it. I liked it because I was being treated like a kid again: I had chores, responsibilities, and a really strict schedule.”
That strict rhythm helped him manage his ADHD and build a foundation for recovery.

Sharon on Ozzy’s brilliance and renegade spirit
Sharon Osbourne has never been afraid to go to war for her family—and she’s always made it clear that Ozzy’s magic lies in what others might call madness. She fought to create a platform for his genius and helped the world see what she already knew.
“I want it to be remembered that Ozzy was the first celebrity who was brave enough to open up his private life to the public. He was the first.”
She’s not wrong. The Osbournes invented reality TV, and in doing so, broke open what was possible for weird, wild families on the edge.
The ADHD Royal Family
In a world that often misunderstands ADHD, the Osbournes are proof of what happens when you embrace the chaos. Creativity. Resilience. Brutal honesty. Unapologetic originality.
This Halloween, we’re raising a glass to the First Family of the BW ADHD Hall of Fame—Wild brains. Loud lives. No filters. No apologies.
